He earned his M.Sc. in the same field and institution in 1998, analyzing productivity in the Malaysian food manufacturing sector. His academic foundation was laid with a B.Sc. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Alazhar, Cairo, in 1992. Prof. Elsadig has held continuous academic appointments at Multimedia University since 2004, ascending from Lecturer to Professor.
