Prof. Dr. Abdul-Qader Abdul-Ghafour is a researcher in Natural Language Processing (NLP) with a strong focus on computational linguistics, translation studies, and Qur’anic discourse analysis. His work integrates AI-based language models with linguistic theory to address semantic ambiguity, synonymy, and pragmatics in Arabic–English translation. He has contributed extensively to machine-assisted translation, discourse analysis, and NLP applications for low-resource languages, with particular emphasis on Arabic. His research supports improving translation accuracy, semantic interpretation, and AI-driven language understanding in both academic and applied contexts.
